The completed picture of St Michael, carrying souls to Heaven in a napkin (the line-art is now in my scraps). The design was copied from an illustration in a medieval psalter belonging to a convent (or nunnery).

Thanks for the fave! I love the style of a lot of medieval art too - and I think that it is often too easily dismissed. It is true that it is simplistic, but a lot of the time it has a wonderful grace in the design.
